Severna Park High School Baseball and Girls' Lacrosse

Both the Severna Park High School baseball team and the girls' lacrosse team had big days.  The girls are in the Class 4A/3A East Region final with a over South River, 12-7.  The Falcons' baseball team also beat South River by a score of 3-2 to reach the Class 4A East Region final against archrival Arundel.  In another squeaker, Arundel hich beat North County yesterday to reach the final.  Arundel and Severna Park split their two meeting this year, both winning on the other teams home turf. The East Regional final is tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. (early game due to prom - these are just kids!).

The Severna Park boys' lacrosse team lost last night, ending their season.  But not matter what happens from here, it has been an incredible spring season for Severna Park High School sports.  The tennis team also one the county championship, defeated closest rival Broadneck.

Competing well in all of these sports at the same time is like the United States fighting a war in east in Japan and in the west in Germany except this is a four front battle.  (Okay, not really.)
