Really? Could this possible be true? The New York Times reports on a study suggesting fake smiles can be bad for your health. I've heard just the opposite: that smiling triggers serotonin in the brain that actually improves your mood (and, as a result, your health).
Who knows what to think? One thing is for sure: no one is suggesting (yet) that exercise is bad for your health!
Until this study has been replicated, I think you can continue to be a big phony and flash that fake smile.
