Fake Smile Bad for Your Health

| No Comments | No TrackBacks
Really?   Could this possible be true?  The New York Times reports on a study suggesting fake smiles can be bad for your health.  I've heard just the opposite: that smiling triggers serotonin in the brain that actually improves your mood (and, as a result, your health).

Who knows what to think?  One thing is for sure: no one is suggesting (yet) that exercise is bad for your health!

Until this study has been replicated, I think you can continue to be a big phony and flash that fake smile.

Beauty or Health?

Beauty or health?  Which one would you choose?

The correct answer is both.  (Sorry, it was a trick question.)  But good health beget beauty.  Yet in this study, women are voting with their pocketbooks and spending more money on beauty than on their health.

The paradox is by spending more time, money and effort on health, you actually increase you beauty.   But that requires effort which is why it is the path least traveled for many.
